Celia Wightman

Since I was a little kid, I've had a passion for writing and storytelling. In my role as a marketing and communications specialist with Nebraska Medicaid at the Department of Health and Human Services, my love for language allows me to create marketing strategies and conduct vital outreach throughout the state.
During my senior year of college, I worked as a copywriter at Jacht, a student-run advertising agency through the UNL College of Journalism and Mass Communications. At Jacht, I worked closely with my client teams to uncover key insights that allowed us to truly convey brands' stories.

I also work part-time at 402 Creamery where I love memorizing my regulars' orders and snagging samples of all our seasonal flavors.
When I'm not writing or at the ice cream shop, you can find me traveling, at a cheap concert or reading at a coffee shop downtown.​
